WATCH: Is Noot Seaar The Only Model Who Can Act?
Actress Noot Seaar is officially the go-to girl for fashion brands that feel the need to make a short film. Seaar talked to Elle about her newest short, “The Getaway,” filmed by Gordon Harrison Hull for Tory Burch. She’s also stood next to Justin Timberlake in a commercial for Givenchy‘s Play fragrance, and recently appeared in a film called “The Chase” for Diesel Black Gold. Oh, and perhaps you’ve seen her in a little movie only a few people have seen called “Twilight: New Moon.”
In “The Getaway,” Seaar plays herself as an American in Paris, by which we mean she plays a badass American woman giving serious sass to a gendarme who wants to know why she’s in the France. Watch:
The way we’ve heard it, Newt wasn’t always so brazen. When she was in junior high school, our editor in chief Verena once spent an afternoon taking the tangles out of Seaar’s hair. A year after that, Noot was discovered in Seattle. Now, we’re not saying there’s a connection. We’re just sayin’.
