Are you a Mary-Kate or an Ashley?

The Olsen sisters have April cover duty over at Elle UK, which means we need to hold a full-blown, all-out TWIN BATTLE ROYALE. Or, you know, take a poll. So, who do you like best — Ashley in a bejeweled Dolce & Gabbana dress or Mary-Kate in a bejeweled collared top? In all fairness, we must also tell you that we believe Ashley snagged the sole subscriber cover (in which she is wearing a bejeweled…robe..or something). MAKE A DECISION, FOLKS.

Not necessarily a fair comparison, the photographer used different styles for the two covers, with Mary Kate’s being more ‘earthen’ and Ashley’s more modern. Ashley’s looks better to me, but if the two covers had used a similar style they might have been more even.

I agree about the lighting on MK’s face, it’s not flattering. If the photographer wanted to bring out the eyes, he should have done post-editing instead of cutting her face in half with light and shadows!
