The Olsens Make Another Ridiculously Overpriced Backpack

The Olsen twins love them some backpacks. Remember the alligator one that sold out last year? Well, they’ve now designed a second iteration that, if hawked on eBay, could feed a small family for a year.

The Row’s new patchwork fur bag will cost $16,900. Rachel Zoe, lover of fur and all things overpriced, brought this to out attention via The Zoe Report, and has already sung the praises of MK and A’s newest creation:

“Let your wrists unwind this summer with a modern backpack, a trend we are currently keen on thanks to The Row. Not only will your body thank you, but your new bag will also boast a fashion prowess previously unprecedented. Pretty in patchwork, The Row’s posh pack combines comfort and class. The fuzzy texture on this nifty knapsack is also a fashion favorite.”

No surprise here, but the Olsens have already been panned by the PETA for their use of fur. (For the record, no one has confirmed that it’s actually real, but judging by the price we’re guessing it is). PETA said in a statement to E! News:

“If it looks like a troll and acts like a troll, it’s probably a Trollsen Twin — or someone wearing one of their new $16,000 totes, which are made from the fur and skins of innocent animals.”

At only $17k, this furry baby is a bargain compared to the last backpack the “Trollsen Twins” designed. The alligator backpack came with a $34,000 price tag — that’s about 4 times the cost of your average Hermès Birkin. When you put it that way…

I can’t wait for the reports of red paint being thown on this “thing” by the peta folk!
Seriously, $16,900 for a backpack made of dead animals, that looks more like a rejected craft project, than a stylish product someone would actually want to buy?

If this is a sample of the olsen’s designing skills, epic failure, gross, ugly, you blew it, comes to mind.
With a price tag of $16,900, you really have to wonder what class of people the olsen weirdo twins are catering to, cause it sure ain’t your average Joe or Jane.

The bag is Made out of real fur. Actually the bag is Made out of the fur of many small animals. The bag is Made in Italy or more precisely Made in Tuscany from the same Factory that has done the alligator backpack last season for The Row.
