WATCH: Hosts Of Fox & Friends Really Don’t Like The Olympic Berets

Yesterday, Ralph Lauren revealed the US Olympic Team‘s uniforms for the Opening Ceremony, and we totally thought the accessories made the ensembles looked a lot like naval garb. Especially those berets! But the team over on Fox & Friends seriously didn’t like the Parisian accessory, and took to the airwaves to voice their thoughts.

In the video below, hosts Gretchen Carlson and Steve Doocy mock the jaunty beret (“And you have to pronounce it that way too, because that’s the French way”) and asked why Lauren even designed the topper:

“The big question though is should the American team be wearing a beret? Why not a baseball cap? Why not a cowboy hat like we had when we went to Calgary? Or why not do something just very American and go topless?”

Err yeah, why don’t we go topless to the Olympics?
