P. Diddy To Reimburse Model For Burned Hair
Remember that time a model’s hair caught fire while she was lounging in a bathtub at P. Diddy’s album release party? Well, in the spirit of the season, Diddy has reportedly offered to make amends to the torched beauty, a model by the name of Miyoki Jones.
While it’s unclear as to whether Jones was actually paid to be there (and, more importantly, whether she was hired specifically to lounge in the hotel room’s bathtub surrounded by candles), the firey incident certainly wasn’t Diddy’s fault. The hip hop mogul was on an entirely different floor at the time of ignition. That said, since it was his party, there’s a certain amount of responsibility — and if she was in his employ at the time, we’re pretty sure that leaves him culpable.
Which brings us to Diddy’s reparations, which come in the form of a whole new hairdo. According to TMZ:
Diddy called up Miyoki shortly after the incident to see how she was doing … and then offered to foot the bill for her hair repair — no matter what the cost.
We’re told Miyoki has already set up an appointment for later this week — and the work is expected to run Diddy around a thousand bucks.
It’s a nice gesture — and seems only fair. Now what we want to know is what salon will be tasked with the new ‘do?
