PHOTOS: Michelle Trachtenberg Does Drag For Paper Mag
Inspired by their covershoot with British musician Elly Jackson, also known as La Roux, Paper magazine dedicated a few pages of their September issue to menswear, with one catch — all the looks were modelled by women.
Featuring designers Charlotte Ronson and Erin Fetherston, actress Michelle Trachtenberg, model Veronica Webb and many others, the images depict these typically femme females in “scraggly mustaches and sideburns,” suspenders, and everything from scruffy overalls to schoolboy uniforms.
We’ve picked a few of our favorites, including The Like’s Z. Berg and Tennessee Thomas — yes, she of the infamous BumpIt Concussion.
