People We Love: Lynn Yaeger
Lynn Yaeger is a sight to behold. The witty fashion writer is a style icon and a New York fixture — and we love her.
After getting inexplicably fired from the Village Voice at the end of 2008 following a successful 30-year run, Lynn has kept herself busy contributing to various publications (including New York Magazine, where she covers Fashion Week). A favorite of Bill Cunningham and Scott Schuman alike, she is instantly recognizable thanks to her bright orange bob, doll-like makeup and layered, quirky style.
We’ve put together a gallery of our favorite Lynn looks, as well as dug up an interview clip from Time Out. Dismiss the fact that she’s being interviewed by Julia Allison, and appreciate that her answer to “Who do you think the most important person in fashion is?” is “Me.”
