Peter Cook’s Ex-Girlfriend Slams Christie Brinkley

Well, we were expecting Christie Brinkley to blast Peter Cook after he issued a statement yesterday about their highly publicized divorce. But instead of Brinkley speaking up, Cook’s ex-girlfriend Carri Lyn Ciamarra is giving us her two cents.

Page Six reports that Ciamarra, who dated Cook for seven months before he and Brinkley finalized the divorce, just couldn’t sit around and watch the blame game happen:

“For four years I have sat back and not said a word about Christie and Peter, even after she had the gall to subpoena me to testify for her against my ex. The fact is, Christie is an actress, and a very good one at that. Peter is an amazing father, and I am certain he still is. He was always there for Sailor and Jack and would stop the world just to make them happy. He has given so much of himself to his kids, and while he may have fallen short of being ‘Husband of the Year,’ that should not take away from the fact that he is an amazing dad to his children. Many Americans divorce and move on…Christie should save her tears and find peace within herself, and hopefully then she will be able to let go.”

At least someone is on Cook’s side, but we really want to know why Ciamarra is even putting herself in the middle of the fray. Is she that bored?

Seems to me this person knows zero about the true story and has merely signed onto his endless show of bitterness for the terrible choices he alone made and continues to make.  People who truly know Christie, for much longer than Peter or what’s her name here, know the truth.  NPD, look it up and you will see what he is all about.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I can’t see any reason why an ex girlfriend who he dated after Christie should have been dragged into this mess….And obviously there is some bitterness, as a woman I would feel the same. However, everyone has a right to freedom of speech and I see no harm in her defending his parenting, as I am sure she saw much of it.   I hope this woman can find peace that she deserves and separates herself from both of them.
