These Vintage Pics Will Make You Wanna Jump! Jump!

Sometimes enough is enough. So excuse us while we attempt to completely ignore photographer Terry Richardson‘s latest female-debasing perversions and opt for something a little lighter. In other words, we’re taking the high road, and quite literally, thanks to these amazing snaps from a new Philippe Halsman exhibition at the Laurence Miller Gallery called Jump.

Seriously, what’s not to love about the grainy mid-air jubilance of a vintage Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, Janet Leigh or Brigitte Bardot? It’s enough to make me want to run down the hallways and try out some aerials of my own — except being super clumsy I would probably bang my knee into a table, fall down, or find some way to turn an act of glee into a 3-inch gash. Alas, I’ll just settle for the stills.
