PHOTOS: Queen Elizabeth Steps Out In Mint Green

Our favorite royal highness attended the Ascot race yesterday, looking too lovely in a mint green top hat and suit, which she paired with classic two-strand pearls. While we obviously love us some Kate Middleton too, there’s just something about the queen that oozes style and grace. Maybe it’s our favorite accessory of hers: that mega-watt smile, which she wears so very well.

And perhaps it’s just wishful thinking, but we like to imagine Her Majesty took a cue from Lady Gaga’s prediction from last year: “Mint will be very big in fashion next Spring.” Gaga owes her one, after all.
