PHOTOS: What The Obamas Wore To The Swearing-In

The first installments of the much-anticipated Obama inauguration fashion are in! At his swearing-in today, Barack‘s ladies opted for rich blue and purple hues.

Michelle wore her traditional dress-and-sweater combo (and went with Reed Krakoff), Malia blocked it up in a royal blue number with long black sleeves, and Sasha went a bit more daring in a sleeveless lace frock with a thick, embellished metallic belt.

It’s a nice color palette, appropriately solemn but not without a bit of panache. Fitting for our modern-day Camelot.
