Wimbledon’s Other Winner: Pippa Middleton
As Wimbledon wraps up today, it’s evident there was only one real victor. Not Andy Murray, not Marion Bartoli, but the impeccably-dressed Pippa Middleton. While Pippa usually accompanies her sister Kate to the match, the Dutchess is currently preparing to launch $376 million out of her lady parts, so Pippa had to attend the match without her.
On day one of the matches, a couple of weeks ago, she went with her brother James in Kate’s stead. Her outfit was a bit lackluster, but the shades of blue definitely worked in her favor. Condoleezza Rice seems to agree.
Yesterday she watched the semifinals with boyfriend Nico Jackson in a gorgeous Temperley dress and stole the show with her summery perfection. The “Alexis Stripe” dress was red, beige, white, black, and stunning on the younger Middleton. She accessorized with enthusiasm, as she watched British tennis champ Andy Murray advance to the finals by defeating Jerzy Janowicz.
Though Temperley dropped the price of the dress from $1117 to $558, as you can imagine, it sold out almost immediately after Pippa showed it to the world. Sorry guys. In other news, Andy Murray won his final match earlier today, making him the first Brit in 77 years to win Wimbledon. Congratulations to him!
