Next Year’s Pirelli Calendar Is Going To Be A Lot Less Naked

The Pirelli calendar is going to be a lot less naked next year.

We’re used to the annual collection of highbrow naked model shots, but the 2013 might change that. Eschewing flashy fashion photogs like Mario Sorrenti and Terry Richardson, Pirelli has tapped Steve McCurry for next year’s honors.

Even if his name doesn’t sound familiar, you’ve certainly seen his work: McCurry is responsible for National Geographic‘s iconic “Portrait of a Girl with Green Eyes” cover. McCurry reportedly wants to “portray women who are sexy without being naked”, and Karlie Kloss is allegedly involved. (Kloss, of course, is no stranger to nudity, however.)

Well, isn’t this all very interesting?

It’s common knowledge that there is no mystery and nothing left for imagination in a photo of a completely naked woman revealing everything. Last calendar was a cheap shot with nothing worth attention in it. Perhaps they’ve understood their mistake. There is a huge difference between a photoshopped full frontal of a woman sitting on a piece of rock and an artistic and tasteful act. Anyway, the whole idea of a ‘nude calendar’ is pathetic as hell. I pity all these guys with big egos and inferiority complex at the same time who need to look at such a thing to play with themselves and feel better in the process.

who is reading stylite these days… I swear it’s a bunch of conservatives business people with no artistic bones in their bodies – and the mommy issues of the person above! you should be so ashamed of your naked body to think that just because someone takes off their clothes you have to masturbate – cum flying everywhere!
