You know what would keep your boyfriend really work when you drag him out to go figure skating with you this winter? Two layers of Prada lurex, that’s what!

Fantastic Man filmed figure skater Lawrence Evans doing an upright catch-foot spin in super slow motion. You know, so you can really see how shiny lurex can get. The fiber is usually used for women’s clothing — Julie Newmar‘s Catwoman costume was made from the material in the 60s. And while we could laugh all we want about a dude wearing what is essentially a glorified synthetic fiber skating costume and go on about how real guys probably aren’t going to buy or wear this stuff, we have to admit: this video is sort of impressive.
