Guess Which Royals Want To Walk The Red Carpet At The Oscars?

Because it’s not enough that Hollywood Royalty reigns supreme during awards season, there’s a rumor going around that a certain prince and princess and from a certain European royal house want to bestow their regal glamour upon the red carpet at the Oscars.

Page Six reports that Prince Albert II of Monaco and his wife, Princess Charlene, are eager to attend the ceremony on Feb. 26. It makes sense — His Serene Highness is the son of actress Grace Kelly, who won the Oscar for Best Actress in 1954 for her role in The Country Girl, so this sort of thing is in his blood. Princess Charlene on the other hand is said to be eager to talk up her new charitable foundation for children. And what better place to do that than at one of the most glamorous, high-profile and over-reported events of the year, which puts some of the wealthiest people in the world all in one room?

Here’s hoping they can find a way in — although at this point, if they aren’t on the list, who knows if they can actually make it within the next ten days. And if they do, will Charlene have time to find a dress?

I hope Princess Charlene and Prince Albert are able to come to the Oscars. I think it would be great for the Oscars because they have sucked in the past couple of years. It would be a great way for her to talk about her charity and others can also help children in need. I would love to see what kind of dress she wears she has the most amazing style.

It’s NOT a rumor. You are a whole month late in reporting this. It was announced in January that they ARE attending. They likely are attended due to the yet-to-be-filmed “Grace of Monaco” movie (with a cast yet to be announced, to be released in 2014). She probably won’t talk at all, but he may make some sort of tribute to his mother during the ceremony. They’ve likely been on the list since last year. Any idiot would know that. #Duh #checkyourfactsbeforereportingplease

I did see them at the Oscars and was alarmed at how distressed she appeared….as if she would
burst into tears at any time. She looked so very unhappy. So sad…..
