TIME WARP: Toddler Prince William Ran Wild At Harry’s Christening

Looks like even the royals aren’t immune to the terrible twos.

While Prince Harry may be considered the wild child of Buckingham Palace nowadays, back in 1984 it was older brother Prince William who was wreaking havoc all around those hallowed halls. Just check out this video from Harry’s Christening in 1984, which shows Wills running circles around various members of the British upper crust, shrieking, flailing, and generally acting like the unruly toddler that he is (er, was.)

As for the attire, Harry is sporting a gown quite literally fit for a Queen. Generations of monarchy were christened in the same piece, and in the clip Prince Charles marvels at its resilience throughout the years. Princess Diana looks like the picture of elegance in a cobalt dress and matching hat, and while we can’t see Queen Elizabeth II‘s full outfit (just a bit of grey dress and a blue hat) we know one thing she’s NOT wearing.

Our favorite part of the video, however, has to be when the Queen talks puppies with William and fellow toddler Zara Philips (daughter of Princess Anne). Puppies and royals?! Our day is made.
