Princess Beatrice Of York Pays Emma Watson’s Stylist $2,400 A Day
Remember how much shade the Internet threw at Princess Beatrice of York for that hat she wore to the Royal Wedding? Apparently it got so dark, she needed to hire a new stylist to bring her back into the light. Enter Charlie Anderson, the architect of some of Emma Watson‘s strongest looks, who’s been doing a pretty good job keeping Bea out of the worst-dressed pages.
According to Fashionista, Anderson has been coaching the princess on her looks ever since Princess Beatrice and her Hat became a thing on Tumblr (and since someone on Facebook had the clever idea to compare the Philip Treacy fascinator to a uterus). And Anderson, who used to be the fashion director at Tatler, seems to know what she’s doing. In addition to putting clothes on the backs of Watson, she’s also handled Anne Hathaway, Nicole Richie and Katie Holmes. And to be quite honest, she’s doing a bang up job with the Princess of York, too.
And for the price she charges (£1,500 a day, or about $2,395 at current exchange), Beatrice should look like a million bucks. By and large, she does! Check out the form-fitting Rouland Mouret she wore at the Chelsea Flower Show a few weeks ago and tell us it’s not a vast improvement over this.
