PHOTOS: Princess Charlene Goes Avant Garde In Germany

Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco hung out with German President Joachim Gauck and his domestic parter Daniela Schadt in Berlin this morning. Naturally, we have to discuss what everyone wore, and we have issues with Charlene’s outfit.

The men looked formal in stiff suits, while Schadt wore a simple printed dress and white blazer. However, Charlene chose a monochromatic robin’s egg blue ensemble. She paired wide-legged trousers (which look like yoga pants) with a long sleeveless top and an off-the-shoulder wrap.

While we dig the bold color choice (how very Queen Elizabeth!), we’re not feeling the situation around her arms. Could she not have worn a matching blazer instead? Thankfully, Charlene changed out of the snood-inspired shoulder wrap and opted for a matching Louis Vuitton scarf for another event later in the day. Ballin’.
