PHOTOS: Princess Charlene Goes Bold In Akris For Red Cross Ball

While Duchess Catherine is our favorite, we’re just really into royalty these days. As such, we would like to take some time to talk about that other royal newlywed, Princesss Charlene of Monaco.

Last night Charlene attended the 63rd Red Cross Ball in Monte Carlo with her husband Prince Albert. Swanky! She wore a detailed strapless Akris gown in a rich shade of fuschia, paired with a matching clutch and an insane Van Cleef and Arpels necklace. What do we mean by insane? The bauble was comprised of 98 diamonds and 359 sapphires. Meanwhile, Albert went with a two-tone tux.

I’m most likely concerned why Cathy woulda have said so from a beautiful woman with lots of grace. She is beautiful, and has a classy sense of style. ( personally do not like the Akris dress ) But, she is still a beautiful woman in beautiful clothes. Have we ever seen Cathy THAT dressed?
