Queen Elizabeth To Celebrate Coronation With A Catwalk Show

You didn’t think Chanel was the only one who could put on a fashion show in a palace, did you?
Well, Queen Elizabeth can most certainly can do it too. As if there was any doubt that the 86-year-old monarch is in possession of some serious fashion cred, Vogue UK reports that she is celebrating the 60th anniversary of her coronation by erecting a catwalk in the gardens of Buckingham Palace next year.
The catwalk is part of the four-day Coronation Festival, and will celebrate Royal Warrant holders, which are companies that have earned the stamp of approval from the Queen, Prince Charles, or the Duke of Edinburgh, such as Hunter rainboots, Savile Row tailors Gieves & Hawkes and Dege & Skinner, and sock manufacturer Corgi. Yes, like Liz’s beloved dogs.
The celebration goes from July 11 through 14, so you still have plenty of time to book that trip across the pond, and tickets are already available for purchase online.
