Queen Elizabeth had an exciting day today!

As her Diamond Jubilee celebration approaches, Liz has been making her way around Britain, hanging with the people, and whatnot. Today she visited both Chester and Liverpool, England, and her means of transportation were quite silly (see: the monorail at the Chester Zoo, the duck boat at the Merseyside Maritime Museum). She also watched dancers and saw animals both real and fake, all while being accompanied by Prince Philip.

And what did she wear?! A magenta (!) coat over a coordinating dress with a matching, flower-embellished hat. She accessorized with black patent shoes, a black patent bag, and black gloves. Love you forever, Liz.

Goodness. I thought the British loved their Queen – in the past two days the poor old gal has been subjected to barges, monorails, and duck boats. Wonder what would happen if the Queen were disliked? Let’s see, we have parachuting out of airplanes, riding all terrain vehicles over sand dunes and zip lining from the Tower of London.
