Queen Elizabeth Wears Monochromatic Outfit, Hangs Out With Babies

Following yesterday’s monochromatic outfit, Queen Elizabeth opted for an all-lavender ensemble to open a new maternity ward at Lister Hospital earlier today. Yeah, it’s totally her thing.

Liz officially opened the $25 million Diamond Jubilee Maternity Unit, and checked out some cute babies in the process. She wore a lavender coat and matching chapeau, and topped off the outfit with her favorite black heels and handbag.

She chatted with mothers and staff at the maternity unit, but since we obviously don’t know what she said, we imagined her conversations. Yeah, it’s a slow day. But it’s also because we love Liz.
