We love a goodrepeat, and Royalrepeats are the best. Queen Elizabeth has officially taken a page from Kate Middleton‘s book and recycled an entire outfit.
We’ve been itching for more Liz closet-shops ever since she wore the same buttercup yellow Angela Kelly ensemble from Kate and Will’s wedding to the Trooping the Colour ceremony back in June. Well, she’s finally given in to our requests and pulled out a vivid purple double-breasted coat with a black collar and gold buttons, matching hat, and coordinating accessories to meet members of the Household Cavalry in Windsor yesterday. We first saw the ensemble in late October when Liz visited the new Jubilee Gardens. Sadly, she didn’t carry that awesome umbrella again.
Liz also stepped out today to host the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah of Kuwait on his three-day visit to England. It wasn’t a repeat, but she still looked pretty great in a light gray coat dress with a cool swoosh-y neckline and coordinating chapeau. Liz is just too stylish, you guys.
