Queen Elizabeth Wears Royal Blue For Her Debut At UK Cabinet Meeting

Queen Elizabeth doesn’t love a repeat nearly as much as Kate Middleton, but she certainly loves wearing the same color over and over again. Liz attended the weekly Cabinet meeting this morning — the first time a British monarch has attended the event since Queen Victoria‘s reign ended in 1901 — and chose a vibrant royal blue ensemble for the occasion.

Liz appeared to be wearing a dress in the same color underneath her knee-length coat, and carried her usual black accessories. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, right? Just last month, Liz recycled a head-to-toe violet ensemble, and we were really hoping that her royal blue outfit from today’s Cabinet meeting was also a repeat. We were so close.
