PHOTOS: The Queen Of England Takes Her Stains In Stride

Every woman has had one of those nights — a curious stain here or an (eek!) seam rip there. That’s what dry cleaners were invented for, right? Well, rest assured clumsy ladies, you’re in good company, as it seems the Queen of England is also prone to fashion foibles. Apparently, while attending a regal birthday party for King Constantine of Greece, her highness had a little trouble getting the spoon to the mouth and ended up with some greasy spillage down the front of her blue gown.

As if that wasn’t enough to deal with, the strap of her silver handbag then snapped, leaving her with a limp looking clutch. The horror! But ever the picture of poise and elegance, she remained calm and no one reported seeing her frantically swabbing her demure number with Tide-to-Go or attempting to exhume the stain under a hand-dryer.

Take a lesson — as they say money can’t buy you class, but it can afford you a really good dry-cleaner.
