‘Chic Thief’ Walks Out Of Ralph Lauren Store With $17K Crocodile Bag
If you’re going to commit a crime, it may as well be a fancy one.
According to the New York Daily News, the NYPD is on the hunt for a “chic, well-dressed thief” who stole a super pricey crocodile handbag from Ralph Lauren‘s Upper East Side flagship last month. The bag appears to be the brand’s Ricky bag, which retails on its website for a whopping $16,995.
Security cameras caught the woman (who is described as middle-aged and of thin build) leaving the Madison Avenue boutique, bag in tow, in the middle of the afternoon. It should be noted that the bag coordinated with her outfit (!) — a three-quarter length camel coat, maroon scarf, and black boots. How very Ralph! This is, of course, fairly genius.
