PHOTOS: Who Stole The Show On Last Night’s Red Carpets?

We’re not sure if mercury was in retrograde or if she’s just getting inspired by all the layers of clothing she’s been styled in as of late, but Kate Upton‘s outfit for the Vanity Fair screening of Everything or Nothing: The Untold Story of 007 was downright chaste — well, ok, as chaste as a tight black pencil skirt can get. She shared the spotlight with Solange Knowles, who rocked a bubblegum pink Twenty8Twelve shorts suit, paired with a very Vuitton-esque checkered top and a lucite Charlotte Olympia Union Jack clutch that we can’t help but covet.

Meanwhile, uptown, Elle cover girl Sarah Jessica Parker donned a gorgeous Oscar de la Renta gown to the opening night at Carnegie Hall, though the python Pierre Hardy clutch made the look a little busy. She was joined by a very chic Chelsea Clinton, as well as Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who did his city proud, rocking a very stylish burgundy bow tie.

Finally, Nicole Kidman looked smashing at the Nicole Kidman Gala in a scarlet beaded L’Wren Scott number, which is exactly how we’d want to look if we were attending a gala named after ourselves.
