As Sundance Film Festival continues on its merry way down in Utah, celebrities like Kate Bosworth, Elizabeth Olsen, and Dakota Fanning stepped out yesterday to pose for the cameras and promote their new movies. In NYC, a handful of stars braved the chilly temps to take in screenings and fête their latest projects, while in Los Angeles, many donned skimpy frocks and strappy sandals because it’s California and they can do things like that. Not that we’re jealous or anything.
At the premiere of “Big Sur”, Bosworth chose a full Calvin Klein runway look, from a shaved shearling top to a cognac leather skirt and vertiginous platform booties. Not PETA-friendly, that’s for sure. Nor particularly attractive. Olsen and Fanning coordinated white tops while toasting their new film “Very Good Girls”, though the former opted for slouchy cropped pants while the latter channeled her twin sisters’ favorite look in leather leggings and matching thigh high boots.
Also going for monochromatic ensembles were Chloë Grace Moretz in Dolce and Gabbana, Jessica Alba in head-to-toe Christian Dior, and Jennifer Lopez in ultra-feminine white Lanvin.
