PHOTO: Would You Wear A Pink Wedding Dress?

Clearly, we love pink. It’s sort of Styleite’s favorite color. It’s in our wardrobes and medicine cabinets and, not to mention, all over the site itself. So you’d think we’d be really jazzed about the fact that Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon wore a pale pink gown to marry her fiance Jim Toth over the weekend, but something about the choice has us scratching our heads.

Don’t us wrong — the Chantilly lace bodice Monique Lhuillier gown with a full tulle skirt was a thing of beauty. We’re just not sure that it would have been our first choice as a wedding dress. Also, duh, Witherspoon has no obligation to make us happy — the most important thing was that she was happy about the way she looked. But we can’t help the feeling that this color — and this styling — ended up being even more saccharine than the fondant on her wedding cake. And since we were debating it, we figured we may as well ask you what you think.
