Would you like to see Hillary Clinton dress up in Rick Owens? We can’t imagine this would actually go down in real life, but that’s why we have Robb Young‘s new book. In Power Dressing: First Ladies, Women Politicians & Fashion, Young investigates first lady fashion, and his means of promotion are totally brilliant.
Young had Simon Doonan, Susie Bubble, Nicola Formichetti, and other tastemakers style spring looks for the world’s most famous lady politcians and politicians’ wives — Michelle Obama, Samantha Cameron, and Carla Bruni, among them. Charlotte Hoyle drew the women in their (sadly, hypothetical) fancy duds, and we’re totally obsessed with the illustrations.
