PHOTOS: Rooney Mara Steps Out In Not-So-Basic Black Vuitton

Rooney Mara‘s red carpet style for The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo premieres can be summed up as not-so-basic black (and sometimes white). In keeping with this, last night she stepped out for the Paris premiere in a Louis Vuitton number that truly straddled the line between pretty and cool.

Any dress with this flattering of a shape and the presence of pockets has us sold, but the lace and beading are what make the frock truly special. And while we’re not usually fans of belts, this one is the perfect width and is attached via studs to the front instead of going all the way around the waist. Mara’s lack of accessories, simple shoes, and flawless makeup top off the look. Do you love it as much as we do?
