Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Tapped For Transformers?

Last week, reports confirmed that Megan Fox was parting ways with the Transformers franchise and its third installment. After a tumultuous relationship with director Michael Bay, the actress and the Transformers team decided to call it quits, leaving Shia LaBeouf’s love interest up in the air.

Who could fill the shoes of the sexy Fox that brought the boys running to see the blockbuster? While we’d love to see the real life romance of Shia and Cary Mulligan on the big screen, we have trouble envisioning the elfin blonde amidst morphing machines and high speed car chases.

Apparently, though, an equally sexy counterpart is stepping in to save the day. GeekWeek reports that Victoria’s Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has been tapped to replace Fox for Transformers 3.

Back in March, the underwear model told the Telegraph of her acting dreams — she wanted to be a Bond girl. “I kind of see myself as the girl…emerging from an explosion, with a gun,” she said.

And actress or not, we’re sure that fans of Transformers will have no problem buying a ticket to see Huntington-Whiteley do just that. Her acting abilities may still be unknown, but we can vouch that the girl knows how to walk a runway with some drama.
