PHOTOS: Which Royal Had The Kookiest Hat This Easter Sunday?
As sure as you can count on a basket-bearing bunny to bring loads of chocolate each and every Easter, you can count on the Brits to dust off their hatboxes and don fancy toppers for Sunday services across the pond.
Yesterday, Queen Elizabeth, The Countess of Wessex, and Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice stepped out at Windsor Castle in all manner of millinery, some subdued and some less so. Like last year, Liz opted for a pale pink ensemble, although this time around she eschewed her feathered cap in favor of one with a big, pink pom pom plopped on the brim.
Eugenie also went with a blush shade, although hers was a smaller style perched on the front of her head, while Beatrice played down her reputation as the royal family’s resident headwear risk-taker in an elegant teal and chartreuse cap, and the Countess rounded out the pack in a flamboyant peacock feather fascinator.
