WATCH: Ryan Gosling’s Mom Raided Eva Mendes’ Closet

“Mamma’s boy” may not be the first quality a girl looks for in a boyfriend, but when said boyfriend is Ryan Gosling? Well, we for one would definitely be willing to make a concession.

The heartthrob brought mom Donna Gosling along to last night’s Los Angeles premiere of Gangster Squad, and while we admittedly had some trouble tearing our eyes away from his perfectly cut ~~body~~ Gucci suit, it just so happens that momma Goz looked pretty stylish too in a brocade jacket, ruched silver dress, and black platform sandals.

So, as the classic red carpet question goes, who was she wearing? E! asked, but we’ll warn you: the answer might induce just a twinge of jealousy.

“I’m wearing Eva Mendes tonight,” she said. “She invited me to raid her closet…she’s wonderful.” Ryan spoke up, too: “It’s all my girlfriend’s clothes…yeah, my mom raided her closet.”
