PHOTOS: 5 Worst Dressed Stars On The SAG Red Carpet

On the whole, the SAG red carpet was a disappointment. There weren’t an overwhelming number of looks we loved , nor were many fashion risks taken. Most of the sartorial choices just felt pretty standard, you know? Alas, there were indeed some actresses who looked worse than others.

1. Kim Kardashian
Marchesa can be hit or miss on the red carpet, and Kim 's embellished plum number was a definite miss. The jewel-encrusted embroidery gave off the appearance that something was literally growing on her dress. This is not a good thing. Also not a good thing? The side cutout. She accessorized with Lorraine Schwartz baubles and nude Loubs .
2. Sofia Vergara
Sofia is one of our fave celebs, so we're sad we can't give her royal blue Roberto Cavalli our stamp of approval. We could never say she looked bad , but her plunging gown did have an unfortunate mall prom dress vibe. She also wore a diamond Chopard cuff and black Stuart Weitzman heels.
3. Angie Harmon
Angie 's saccharine-sweet Monique Lhuillier gown could have doubled for a Disney princess getup. The combination of a jeweled bodice with visible boning, feather overload and candy pink hue made this ensemble feel like a costume. A few changes and the look would have been chic — instead, it was just cheesy.
4. Jennifer Lawrence
While we love color on the red carpet, Jennifer 's shocking pink Oscar de la Renta dress just didn't work. In addition to its overly saturated shade (and floppy black velvet bow), the frock also failed to fit properly, pulling at the hip. However, we did like her Fred Leighton earrings and strappy Roger Vivier platforms.
5. Kate Mara
Kate 's blush Herve Leger dress isn't our favorite with its body-con top half and cupcake skirt bottom, but it's her pink feathered headband that landed her a spot on this list. It's simply the most unnecessary of accessories! (And reminds us of Ally Sheedy at the end of The Breakfast Club .) Imagine this look without the offending headwear. So much better, right?
