Sally Singer Returns To Vogue, But With A Fancy New Title
In a bizarre turn of events, Sally Singer has returned to Vogue after exiting the glossy two years ago for T: The New York Times Style Magazine. She left T in August, and now, WWD is reporting that Singer will be back under the Vogue umbrella.
Singer will be the creative director of digital, a position made just for her, and will start on October 29. She’ll report to Anna Wintour (doesn’t everyone?), and will work with Vogue.com‘s editor Caroline Palmer, but sadly not Isabelle Wright.
While congratulations are certainly in order, it’s a little strange that Singer’s back at her old mag. After all, she was Vogue‘s news and features editor and then switched camps to T. Now the question is: was T that bad or is Vogue just that great?
