World leader gifting is so very strange! David and Samantha Cameron are currently visiting the White House, and many a present has been exchanged between Britain’s First Family and the Obamas.

Here’s the breakdown…

David to the Obamas: customized ping pong table

The Obamas to the Camerons: one-of-a-kind handmade grill and personalized White House chef jackets

The Camerons to Malia and Sasha: set of classic British books with customized sleeves

The Obamas to Nancy, Arthur, and Florence (aka “the Cameron kids”): personalized bean bag chairs

Samantha to Michelle: printed Jonathan Saunders scarf

Michelle to Samantha: crystal vase, White House honey, chamomile seeds from her garden, and custom candle

So much customization and personalization and other -izations! We happen to think the Camerons won this gift battle, hands down. Ping pong! Books! Jonathan Saunders! And what did they wear today? Samantha chose a color-blocked Roksanda Ilincic dress, while Michelle donned a demure Zac Posen ensemble. The guys wore…suits.
