This Woman Drove Over 100 MPH To Get Her Hair Done
Sandra Powell really likes getting her hair done. So much so that in an effort to make her most recent hair appointment, she drove 102 miles an hour, almost 60 mphs above the posted speed limit in the area. The Union County police of South Carolina stopped Powell this past Tuesday and arrested her for reckless driving after she almost hit another car. When asked why she was driving so fast, she honestly replied, “I’m on my way to get my haircut and I went in the wrong direction and now I’m running late.”
Oh, and did we mention Ms. Powell is 72 years old?
Talk about a bad hair day! Powell was reportedly completely aware that she was driving over 100 mph, but was so worried about being late to get her hair did, that she felt she had no other choice. Now that’s committment. We all understand the importance of a good haircut, but regardless of age, unless Serge Normant himself is cutting your hair, let’s be safe.
