Sarah Jessica Parker Wants A Third Sex And The City Movie To Happen

The will they/won’t they rumors in regards to another Sex and the City movie have gotten a bit stale, but Sarah Jessica Parker let an interesting bit slip in an interview with Parade.

Though rumors have centered on a prequel movie (or TV series) based on the Carrie Diaries, it seems like SJP is interested in continuing down the middle-aged road with Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte, and Miranda. When asked if there was a chance a third movie could be made, she had this to say:

“There is. I know what the story is. It’s a small story, but I think it should be told. The question is, what’s the right time to tell it?”

Interesting! This definitely adds some heft to the idea of the franchise continuing, but we have to echo SJP’s sentiment: when will the time be right?
