WATCH: Sarah Palin Wears Two Fleeces At The Same Time

Sarah Palin didn’t title her memoir Going Rogue for nothing. Today in What Not To Wear On Television, Palin joined Fox News for an epic 19-minute interview, for which she wore what appears to be an orange, quarter-zip fleece topped by a hot pink, full-zip fleece vest featuring red fuzzy lining.

We don’t have to tell you that this is a completely inappropriate ensemble to wear for a television appearance, because it’s a completely inappropriate ensemble to wear anywhere. We can’t help but wonder if she opted for the layered look in keeping with her Alaskan lake background (which comes courtesy of an in-house studio, the other side of which hosts the fireplace scene on display that time she wore a red jacket resembling nothing so much as a bathrobe.)

Seriously, I am no fan of Sarah Palin but she looks fine.  She may clash some but have you seen what the so called fashionable people wear.. WAY uglier than this.

Stupid styleite, there you go, doing whatever you can to support Bama’s campaign.  You keep making ridiculous sartorial attacks on Sarah, and on any conservative who doesn’t share your political views.  What the hell is wrong with what Sarah is wearing?  Have you ever even been to Alaska in the winter?  I HAVE, and it is cold.
Yet no matter what Michele obama wears, you fall all over yourselves, calling her a fashion “icon.”
You fawn all over her even though she wears totally inappropriate clothes to memorial services, and to meet heads of state.  She wore a twinset for heaven’s sake to meet the Queen of England.  (You previousoly said twinsets were out)  What a JOKE.

In the book “Game Change” there is a scene where Vice-Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin is visited by two of her advisors from the McCain campaign in her hotel room.  She had just taken a shower and they were shocked when she answered the door in a towel like bathrobe and bare feet,  There was nobody else in her room and apparently her choice was to greet them in her bathrobe and bare feet or to make them wait out in the hall while she put on her clothes.( I bet this scene is in the movie “Game Change” which comes out in March on HBO). She invited them to come in and then went to put her clothes on.  They actually saw her body covered by a bathrobe, with only her feet naked and dripping with shower water.  They reported this as “extremely bizzarre behavior.”  Their names were not revealed in the book. They obviously were afraid of being suspected as perverts and “foot fetishists.”

Now, Verena von Pfetten of Stylite, is all shook up because Sarah Palin appeared on television in clothes that resembled a bathrobe.  She said:

“We don’t have to tell you that this is a completely inappropriate ensemble to wear for a television appearance, because it’s a completely inappropriate ensemble to wear anywhere. We can’t help but wonder if she opted for the layered look in keeping with her Alaskan lake background (which comes courtesy of an in-house studio, the other side of which hosts the fireplace scene on display that time she wore a red jacket resembling nothing so much as a bathrobe.)”

I say her outfit is perfectly acceptable clothing to wear for a television program, especially if you are broadcasting from your own home.  We never did find out if she had her shoes on, but if she is running around in her bare feet in the middle of an Alaskan Winter, she does need lessons on how to dress so that she does not catch cold.  She does not need lessons on how to dress on television.

I’m no fan of Sarah Palin, but I find nothing wrong with what she’s wearing. If you’ve spent any time in Alaska, Verena Von Pfetten, you’d understand why Ms Palin might choose to wear two layers.
Seriously, what did you expect her to wear for such a casual interview?  A tailored suit? An evening gown? Get a grip Verena, you’re becoming an embarrassment to your so called, ”profession”.
