WATCH: Sarah Palin Narrowly Avoids Wardrobe Snafu On Today
In case you missed it, Sarah Palin guest-hosted the 8AM hour of the Today Show this morning, where she offered her thoughts on everything from the GOP race to Jessica Simpson’s naked, pregnant ELLE cover. She also confessed to narrowly avoiding one heck of a wardrobe snafu.
During the closing comments, Palin admitted her black-on-black ensemble wasn’t her first choice.
“I wasn’t going to go all Johnny Cash on ya today, but what I showed up in to wear, Matt, happens to be the same jacket — the pink jacket — from a consignment shop that I had worn in an interview with you almost four years ago. I watched the clip last night, I said, ‘Todd! What the heck am I going to wear? They’re going to think I have nothing else to wear!’”

Later, while discussing the controversy surrounding Jessica Simpson’s cover, Palin said that she would not have been happy with people commenting on her pregnancy weight gain.
“I would have wanted to punch ‘em in the neck. Because it’s none of anybody’s business how much I would gain. You know why this is even an issue, Matt, is because that Hollywood image is full of itty bitty people, unrealistically tiny.”
And with that we wholeheartedly agree.
