TIME WARP: Saturday Night Live Hates On Mom Jeans

Saturday Night Live wasn’t new yesterday, so we dug in the archives for this little gem.

Check out Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Tina Fey, and Rachel Dratch rag on mom jeans back in 2003. We’re talking elastic waistbands and “casual front pleats” — plus mom tops and mom hair. We love moms (they’re the best!), but mom jeans are admittedly even worse than dad jeans.

“Give her something that says: ‘I’m not a woman anymore, I’m a mom.’” Oh, ~~man~~ mom.
