Revealed: The September Cover Girls For Vogue, Interview, And V

According to a few reliable sources, those Lady Gaga rumors are true, and the singer is indeed covering Vogue‘s September issue. Additionally, Styleite learned exclusively that the ever lovely Emma Stone will grace the cover of Interview, and Nicole Kidman will front V magazine.

We’re excited for Gaga (even though it’s not her first Vogue cover) and we’re practically dying about Stone, but mostly confused by V’s choice of Kidman. While Kidman has long been a red carpet favorite of the fashion world, we’re not sure she currently has the newsstand-pull to carry a September issue. A quick search on IMDB reveals that she will star in Wentworth Miller‘s (yes, that Wentworth Miller) Stoker sometime this year and has a couple other features in the pipeline for 2013, though we’re not sure that explains it.

We emailed V to confirm Stone’s cover, but a spokesperson declined to comment. As of press time, Vogue and Interview have not responded.

What are you talking about? Apparently, you don’t realize that Nicole Kidman is an Oscar winner, three-time Oscar nominee, one of the very best actresses in the world. She will have two films at the end of this year : “The Paperboy” directed by Lee Daniels (she got fantastic reviews for her performance in this one at the Cannes Film Festival in May so she’ll probably get tons of Oscar buzz by the end of the year) and “Stoker” directed by the great Chan-wook Park (it will probably be in competition at the Venice Film Festival in August/September).
My question would be: who cares about Emma Stone? IMO she’s nothing more than the new flavour of the month, just like Scarlett Johannson, Anne Hathaway and many more before her. A girl who gave only one good performance but is “OMG so cute” that suddenly everyone loves her. This year, she’s nothing more than “the girlfriend” in a super hero movie (“Spiderman”). How interesting!. Kidman, on the other hand, has been famous for more than 20 years and is still one of most interesting and in-demand actresses in the world. It’s weird (and sad) that you apparently know nothing about her and her career.

Nicole Kidman is STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL… even after a 20+ year career that’s included an Oscar WIN (with three nominations- the last being for ‘Rabbit Hole’ in 2010!), and at least 108 other awards and nominations!  She’s been nominated in a slew of award shows, including Golden Globes, Critics Choice, Screen Actors Guild, Broadcast Film Critics, London FIlm Critics… the list goes on and on!  Do some research before you make ridiculous statements!  In the ‘real world’, Nicole Kidman is highly regarded and respected, continuing her humanitarian and philanthropic work, as well!

She was also the talk of the Cannes Film Festival for 2012 with TWO movies, ‘The Paperboy’ (being released in October of 2012) as well as the HBO film, ‘Hemingway and Gellhorn’, which is currently showing on HBO films.  She’s completed ‘Stoker’, due out at the end of the 2012; she’s just filmed ‘The Railway Man’ with Colin Firth, due early in 2013; is due to star in ‘Grace Kelly’ starting in September; has signed to film ‘The Family Fang’… and quite a few others that are “in the pipeline” for her.  Nicole is still in huge demand for movies, as well as for her producing skills now.  The magazines that she ‘covers’ always have large sales numbers… and continue to do so.  Get your ‘facts’ straight before you blow off someone with the name and recognition of Nicole Kidman!!
