Confirmed: Carrie Bradshaw‘s Sex and the City abode sold for quite a pretty penny.

64 Perry St. in New York’s West Village was sold for $9.85 million by Sotheby’s last month. The exterior of 64 Perry (and later 66 Perry) is known as that of Bradshaw’s fictional 245 E. 73rd St. apartment to SATC fans. (Of course, Carrie’s fake rental would have cost $2,800 a month.)

It’s unclear who bought the digs, but they will no doubt enjoy the lavish 4-floor, 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom townhouse. It also has a basement, a backyard, and six fireplaces. And here’s a fun fashion fact: Tim Gunn lived in an upstairs apartment at the address for 16 years.
