  She is gorgeous and she does have a great figure, therefore a beautiful gown would have suited her much more than this. The bottom looks like a tattered bed sheet.

  Whomever wrote this seems to forget something: Issey Miyake did a similar corset in the 80′s and it was featured in a Victoria & Albert museum’s exhibition.

  The dress is not terrible (maybe the nips should have been covered) but terrible it isn’t. As for the hair something else would have looked more regal like her having it finger curled all over to resemble a Grecian statuette. But to say it is terrible is an exaggeration.

  And besides the French have no false morality concerning the human body so a barely see through dress is not a shocker, so American sensibilities do not count when it comes to French fashion sorry, pruddish ideas can just be packed away.
