WATCH: Simon Doonan Schools Us On Table Decorating

In Simon Doonan‘s world, nothing says the holidays quite like a beautifully decorated table — or, in his words, a “melange of eccentric, eclectic” things.

In a video for Chandon, Doonan schools us on setting a table for the holidays. He lights candles, throws “little bon bons” around, places holiday crackers on plates (“Who doesn’t have a good time wearing a party hat?”) and, of course, puts out little bottles of Chandon for imaginary guests.
