We write a fair amount about the unattainable standards set forth by photoshopped models in fashion magazines, but the August issue of Harper’s Bazaar just brought things to a whole new level of unachievable. Smurfette models goodies from Marc Jacobs, Lanvin, Dolce & Gabbana, and Louis Vuitton in the upcoming issue, and we’re officially smitten.

But while the Styleite offices are thoroughly divided on the awesomeness of having iconic cartoons model high fashion goods, Smurfette’s good genes are undebatable. Those eyes! That hair! That oh-so-luminous sapphire colored skin! It’s not fair really. How are we mere humans supposed to compete?

This is so cute! Didn’t Harper’s Bazaar do this with the Simpsons a few years ago, complete with Simpsonized versions of designers (seem to recall Marc Jacobs and I think, Donatella Versace).
