Sneaky Sneaker Wedges Are Coming For Our Children!

We’ve made no secret of our feelings on sneaker wedges: they are one of the silliest and most mind-boggling trends out there! And now, to make things worse, retailers are marketing them at young girls. Sneaky sneaker wedges! For young girls!

While adults have been wearing sneaker wedges for a good year and a half now, the trend is trickling down to the teen market. According to WWD‘s Footwear News, brands like Kenneth Cole Reaction, GUESS, and MIA are making sneaker wedges for tweens and teens. Why? Tweens shouldn’t be wearing heels! They should be wearing sneakers! (And no one should be wearing sneaker wedges, ever.)

Come on, you guys. Real sneakers FTW!
