Stella McCartney Doesn’t Want Kids To Be “Too Posh”
Don’t you dare accuse Stella McCartney of being one of those super protective celebrity parents. The designer and Beatles‘ daughter has been having major qualms about sending her three children — Becket, Miller, and Bailey — to private school.
Despite her father’s immense fame, McCartney and her siblings went to their town’s local school — Thomas Peacocke comprehensive school– growing up and she believes it to have been “one of the best things that could have happened to [her].”
“If at any stage it looks like they’re becoming total jerks and saying ”hello mummy” in posh voices, instead of running in and just being their awful selves, then you have to knock it on the head,” she told The Daily Mail. “It’s one of my biggest internal struggles – the whole schooling system in London and the fact that my kids are going to a posh school. It freaks me out.”
So don’t expect the soon-to-be mother of four to be designing the uniforms for the prep school her kids attend. We hope that fellow schoolmates, who include the children of Claudia Schiffer and Elle Macpherson, don’t teach Stella’s three children about their mommy’s fame. It may get to their heads.
