We Know A Few Things About Raf Simons’s Debut Dior Couture Show!
Raf Simons hasn’t been the most vocal about his vision for Christian Dior, and he hasn’t given up any details about his debut couture collection. Well, now we know a few things!
Milliner Stephen Jones spoke to British Vogue at the Royal Ascot, and revealed that he’s designing hats for Simons’s show. He explains:
“His aesthetic is informing what I do. I’m very excited. He telephoned and asked me. I’ve known him on and off for years and people had kept saying we needed to get together and eventually, yes, now we’re working together and on the biggest stage in the world.”
So there will be hats! But what does everything else look like?
“EXCITING, beautiful and new.”
Well, that’s not descriptive at all. C’mon, give us some details!
“That’s so top secret, I can’t even give you a hint.”
Guess we’ll just have to wait until Paris couture week in July. Ugh.
